It's a little cold here today.
HaPpY BiRtHdAy, PoPs!!!
What happened???! After weeks and weeks of "forcing" Ellie to eat, she's finally ASKING for it. She's tried just about everything we've offered her the last few days, and the other night, she ate FOUR baby bowl fulls in one sitting. She will actually take food from me now and not just her Daddy!! I'm in shock at the BIG change.
Brice got me this SUPER warm and comfy jacket for my birthday. I've been wanting this jacket. It is one of those with down on the inside, and it seriously feels like I'm wrapped up in my comforter when I wear it. And I LOVE our down comforter.
The Bishops' little boy, Caleb, came to play yesterday. He's five months old, and Ellie is seven months old.
Look at them checking each other out! Ha!
Ellie was VERY interested in everything Caleb touched. She tried to steal everything he had!
Although, I did catch a few sweet moments of sharing.

Uh oh. Caleb decided he was done with that toy...
So, Ellie decided she was going to be fussy, too!
Caleb LOVED the entertainer. It was so funny to me because Caleb had so much fun bouncing and twisting in this thing. Ellie rarely bounces and has never cared to twist around in it. Ellie seems to pay more attention to the link toys than Caleb does, though.
OK and I'm in love with Caleb's fuzzy stick'em up hair!

I'm also in love with the continuous feature on my camera. I can capture great facial expressions that way!
What a cutie!

I thought it was fun that Caleb always, always responds to his name. Ellie will respond to her name most of the time, but she usually goes right back to whatever she was doing like I disturbed her or something by calling her. When you call Caleb's name, he looks up all curious about what you are doing.
Yesterday worked out well for me because Ellie took a nap when Caleb wanted to eat, and Caleb took a nap when Ellie wanted to eat. So, I actually got good one on one time with each of them, although I was a little sad they didn't get much time interacting with each other.
Caleb sat up in Ellie's pink bouncer and watched a Praise Baby DVD. He really seemed to enjoy it, and he actually fussed a bit when a song would end.
The poor guy was surrounded by pink with Ellie's chair, her crib, and most of her toys. I let him hang on to his blue blanket so he'd feel a little more manly.
When Ellie woke up, I tried to get the babies to play together again, but Caleb was about ready for his own nap!
Calvin babysat Ellie while I put Caleb down in the crib.

My poor girl needs a haircut!
At last! I got a picture of her smiling AND showing off those two beautiful teeth!
Awhile ago, when Ellie was still in my tummy, we called her our little Sweet Pea. So, I was VERY excited to let her try peas! I even brought out her Sweet Pea bib (thanks to Ellie's great grandpa!) for the occasion.
I'm guessing we need to save up for music lessons one day. This girl LOVES her piano toy.
I'm LOVIN' these boots on Ellie. They are warm, easy to get on, and adorable! Thanks, Nanie and Pops!
Bananas! All this baby wants is bananas! What a little monkey. I didn't have any bibs clean today, so I just went for it. We had a messy, banana-smashin' morning. It looks like there's going to be another Land obsessed with Nanie's banana pudding. I hope you're not sick of making it yet, Nanie!
